Lina Maple at SARCA: The Creative Crowd

It's no coincidence that important art weeks always follow important fashion weeks with the Frieze Art Fair in London following the Spring shows in London and Paris and Armory Week in New York following the Fall Shows in New York. It happens because the same crowd is often in attendance at both. One great example of the synergies this year is long-time French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld's son Vladamir organized an important pop-up gallery featuring French painter Nicholas Pol's work which opened last night to kick off Armory Week in NYC. And to highlight the influence even more, below are some of the runway looks from fashion weeks this season that clearly had some artspiration!
